Mrs Rover and myself purhased some of the above variety from Tesco stores and
wondered if they are available to grow on the lotty? They are a cross between Jerseys
and Rocket, with yellowish flesh fairly waxy but very flavoursome. One of the best tasting
I've had ! help , any body know of a supplier ? All you early (presume they are 1st earlies)
potato addicts look out for them and get a fix. They did though originate from France, sorry
we are all out of our supplies!

I've bought these from Morrisions and they were deeeelishus, and have been wondering the same thing: where can I get seed potatoes from?!?

If you mean Exqisa it doesn't appear to be available as seed in the UK this year, there were major problems because of the hot dry summer with seed production in Europe. It is a Germany variety a salad maincrop. See http://www.europotato.org/display_description.php?variety_name=Exquisa

There is an Exquista which is a baby potato in the States and I haven't heard of it over here.

Alan Romans: A pretty yellow, waxy salad boiler. It is one of a raft of Euro salad potatoes being promoted at the moment. Its long dormancy has led to it being trialled as a second cropper.

and what does he know about European varieties?

I agree they are delicous, but can any one who has tasted one judge which variety they are closest to
with regard to flavour !
