12 o'clock on new years and I'm on a message board sitting in the office at work, oh well someone has to keep the wheels of industry turning............what's left of it.

Well the best festivities that a drunken old sod can bestow, but needs must eh?

Oh dear, that's no good (being in the office)! Having said that, we're sat at home just the two of us, but at least we've got a bottle of champers to keep us company!  :P Happy new year! x

MT. Best wishes to you and your family. Sorry you have to work I suppose the only consolation is that it is filthy night. Only a few youngsters on the town market place having a sing song as we came past at 1.15am. Bless 'em they didn't seem to mind the rain. My Grandson has gone to a friends 21st party and son John said he would go and pick them up. Lee answered well it maybe 6am. No problem, John said you will be going home as I get up.As it happened the friends Grandfather has offered them a bed for the night.

Hubby and I were supposed to be going out with two mates this evening.  One didn't turn up and the other suddenly decided at 10pm she 'doesn't do New Year's Eve' and our plans to go round there with Champers and munchies after being out for the evening all went out of the window as she went home to bed instead.  We were very cross.  Text Rosebud asked if we could see in the new year with her and my dad and she said yes.  Have just got home!  Had a great night, should have planned it that way from the start.  Cheers!
