 ???

Putting this here cos it's food related.
Has anyone seen the advert for these on the tv? They are good for "Roasting, Chipping, Mash, Jackets, Salads..."
The list goes on. What kind of miracle spud does all these things?

Maybe it's just me..

I haven't seen the ads on TV, but I have seen them advertised in colour sups, magazines, etc.  I have actually seen them in Tesco, Sainsbury's and Somerfield.

They do sound too good to be true, and are probably too good to buy!!

They sound more spin than substance.

The books I have read of late are making me more and more cynical, with regard to the fruit and veg in supermarkets.

I think I would leave them on the shelf!!

I have a freind that said Roosters were the best potato to have. She knows as she comes from Ireland. So I've been wondering if it's posible to buy them, to grow next year.

Then seeing the advert, thought they most be good.

Haven't seen the adverts but I have eaten the spuds, but only when I can't get to the farm shop and need spuds from Morrisons (gotta watch my food miles..)

They are fantastic multi-purpose spuds and not too badly priced, about £1 for a 1kg bag - well worth a try.

I hadn't thought of growing any but I will now, roll on spring!
