Was just thinking about thinning my patch out when I saw they were in flower and had green fruit on they are not late ones , we had a bumper crop back in the summer hope it stays warm enough for them to ripen
anyone else had a bonus?

Yes, me too.  Missed most of the early crop as was in Italy for 3 weeks so these new ones will be a bonus (weather permitting).  Went out today to tidy up the pots (I grow mine in pots placed up an old stepladder in a bid to outwit the slugs and snails) and found quite a few green ones.  Have recently potted on 10 new plants from runners as plan to expand crop next year but to put the pots on staging as the stepladder is about to collapse!  The leaves of the older plants are turning a beautiful colour now as well. :)
Weeds? What weeds?

When do you plant strawberry plants please? (that must be bad grammar!!) I would like to have a few next year. Hoping to do some raised beds or alternatively I have some spare big pots.
Lorna.

Thanks Grotbag. Better be in pots for this year then.
