Allotments 4 All

Can anyone tell me how to tell the difference between a young plum tree and a young apple tree?

I have a plum and apple tree on my plots but have the chance to take another young tree from an empty plot, so do have the leaves from both tree's but when I looked this morning I couldn't really tell the difference, so is there another clue I could look for?
