Anyone grown these before? I had a bag that sprouted so stuck them in the ground. Should I just wait for the  plants to die down before cropping?

I would wait for the tops to die off for the best yeild - as with all spuds really. I let the tops die on my cherie's before lifting, and the flavour and texture was still execellant.

You might want to lift them if slugs are a problem, but most of the salad types i've grown did'nt get to much bother from slugs.

I grew Anya this year and have just started to harvest. I just let the foliage die back and they are fabulous. A lovely potato to steam and eat cold with wholegrain mustard mayo. :P

Curryandchips

On next years list if I can get them.
