First time l've grown it and it's tasty, bit like a fresh pea, even better knowing it's so healthy for you.

Hi Bambi,  ;D
Do you mean purslane  ??? I tried to grow it last year (seed from organic gardening catalogue) but it did not want to know, sowed 2 or 3 lots ,came to nothing  >:(  mine was golden summer purslane I think there is a winter variety too.
If you like leaves with a kick to them try sorrel, they have a sharp citrus flavour that is brill in salad.

Is this actually purslane, Portulaca oleracea? I've never grown it, but I've nibbled it as a weed and would like to grow it.

Oops !!!!!

Yes l did mean Purslane  :-[

I bought the seeds from the Chilton catalogue......Portulaceae Purslane.
Catalogue No 1389.

The reason l wanted to grow them Adrian was for the Omega-3, rather than the taste, saying that,as l hadn't tasted then before,l was very pleasantly pleased.
