Allotments 4 All

Can any body help.

I have a Chillington wheelbarrow that I use on my plot, and I need to puchase a new wheel, you know the type, red plastic hub and a blow up tyre. Can I find anybody that sells them- can I flip. I live in the Aylesbury area. I have contacted Chillington direct, no help what so ever.

Well, Dig. Dunno the type, but maybe a search on google?

Probably not much use to you, Diggerman - have you looked for the real old-fashioned kind of "ironmonger" (?); I'm thinking of places that are still country market towns, the sort of place you'd find a scythe in stock!

Dugdales in Settle, N Yorks - too far for you, but they have a web-site at http://www.dugdales-electrical.co.uk/ - brilliant, old-fashioned, shop; lovely people too.  Worth an e-mail or a phone?
