I have one of those self-fertile Kiwis growing on quite well on a south-facing panel fence, and I'm training it along wires.  It won't fruit this year, but hopefully next year it will start producing.

Obvious question is, if I am fortunate to get a glut of kiwi fruit, does it make decent plonk?

I once read some wine-buff waffle about Sauvingon Blanc having "hints of kiwi fruit", so does kiwi fruit wine have hints of Sauvignon Blanc?

I have no idea as to the wine, but we bought some kiwi fruit liqueur in Spain one year, and nobody liked it at all ...
The impossible is just a journey away ...

Oh, cheers Curry, very depressing! :'(

Maybe it's an acquired taste?

Anyway, I don't know if I'll get enough off it to start a brew at all.
