It always amazes me how all those petals fall down in the evening and the next day it's full of blooms again!

First time mine did that I was horrified  :o - thought I'd done something wrong and killed it!

We had a day off yesterday and went to Scotney Castle Gardens in Kent - their cistuses (cisti?) are very impressive at the moment... but then again, the whole place is pretty impressive!
