I fancy popping up to Tatton this year, is there anybody in that area that could tell me how far the show is from the nearest airport.

Manchester airport is the nearest though you will still need a car to get you the rest of the way to Tatton as it's still about 15 welsh miles.  ;D  Oh and go early to avoid the long traffic queues to get in. I set off at 8 am last year from just the far side of manchester and and got in at about 9.40.  ;)

Tempted to go on the Sunday - 4pm on last day they sell off some of the exhibits - one year bought some lovely T&M huge leeks, cauli, garlic etc, though that might have been at Shrewsbury or Southport.
