Allotments 4 All

well we have 2 compost bins in our allotment ( the weird dalek ones!! :P) weve also got one or two in our back garden. we have found that the dalek ones rnt very good. we think we might make sumat out of wood and then with a mesh at the bottomso that the done compost can drop through. and to answer your question about planting directly ontop of compost, me and ma m8 did something similar, we put a potato in the manure to see if it would grow but it didn't. i dont imagine that the pumkin would grow, it might just rot down  ???
