Well, metcheck assures me that the week ahead will be clear and fine, and warm. the kids go back to school tomorro so i can picture a clear run from here to the weekend - am going to give my allotment some serious welly! weeding and more weeding, bit of digging. am going to have a go at making the cloches following the instructions off the wiki. if i succeed i will plant corrots there.  get hubby to put up shed.  sow more peas... clear area for new compost bin dig out last patch of cooooooch. ... ah I feel so much more relaxed already.

Oh, Sarah, your optimism is to be admired but with all that work anticipated think you will need, to cross legs, toes, arms, eyes and anything else possible to get enough good weather (and strength)!! On the other hand, if we do get good weather we will know who to thank and hope you can unkink yourself by next weekend  ;)

Remember that somewhere in the middle of all this, allotments are supposed to be for enjoyment  ;D

Hi Sarah

I've got my fingers crossed for you.  I think some of the fun is in giving it a bit of welly and coming home so tired that you think you might never move again - or perhaps that's just me ???

Seriously, set yourself some achievable targets for each day, so if you only manage say 3 hours per day, think about what you could realistically achieve in that time.

Oh and remember to take a flask with you and a few choccy bars (for energy) ;D ;D

go to it girl........and remember we want the piccies
