Allotments 4 All

Oh what a lovely week!We have been on holiday, not very far, just down to Kingsbridge, in Devon. Some of our oldies have a flat there which they don;t use very often,and allow us to stay there. Dogs can come too!!! We had no rain  in the five days that we were there. Went to loads of lovely beaches, walked for miles, ate too much and naturally, drank too much !!! The flat has a balcony overlooking the estuary, lovely for just watching the boats go by.                                                                                                                                   Then, three days on the lottie, still no rain!! Spuds and onions in at long last, also planted Jerusalem artichokes, beetroot and carrots!. Lots of digging and weeding!! Barrie went down to grumpy club at the pub and brought me a cold beer, and I sat there in the sun , looking at the view , thinking to myself, we are so lucky!!! :) :)

Good for you, nice to hear someone counting their blessings.  As for being lucky, I'm sure at least part of it is well-deserved.  ;)  ;D

Then I must count myself a member of the Lucky club too, for I have my family, my health and so much more ...
