Wandering around the garden centres and DIY shops today getting bits and bobs, found that Van Hague Garden Centres do an own brands range of seeds that are generally 30 - 50p per packet cheaper than some of the major brands, they also do little packs of seed potatoes 1.5kg ideal when you haven't got much room...... I had always thought of them as being overpriced before today!

Thanks for that, BUT I don't have a Van Hague Garden centre near me- never mind! Im sure the rule works for most Garden centres! Dasn :-)

I think you may be right, I am pretty sure the national garden centre chains all have own brand seeds.
