It not a heater but a way to keep the greenhouse warm - I saw it in AG mag last week - two terracotta pots wide brim to wide brim with a candle inside - hole in bottom of each pot.  You would have to replace the candle but maybe only use it when it got really cold :-\  Until you get the real McCoy.
If you can't be a good example -- then you'll just have to be a horrible warning....

Have a look here for ideas:

I have used parasene heaters in the past, including the mini, midi and standard blue flame heaters.

The mini will keep a quite hard frost at bay in an 8 X 6 especially if you have it insulated with bubble wrap.

There are some problems with the paraffin heaters:

The smell of the fuel and fumes though you can add a scent to the fuel to reduce this.

They do release a lot of moisture into the air so condensation can be a problem so you must make sure you have adequate ventilation.

If you do not trim the wick correctly they can pump out lots of soot over your plants, I did this once and lost a whole house full of seedlings.

If you are working in the house make sure you ventilate the house well to prevent breathing in the fumes.

For these reasons I swapped to electric a few years back and find it far easier to manage. I can go away for a few days and not worry as the thermostats control things for me.

Last year i used just a tilly lamp to keep the frost out. Only cost a couple of quid and hardly used any parafin.

I have just bought two of those small round paraffin heaters from B&Q (10% off on Wednesdays for over 60's) and when I lit them in my 10'x 8' greenhouse they did not seem to make much difference. In fact I thought I might as well have bought two candles. I have also bought some galvanised staging, so I hit on the idea that if I put them (the heaters) on the bottom shelf about 14" from the top shelf they might act as a radiator (in fact two radiators) It works OK and I noticed quite a difference in the temperature straight away. I don't expect it to get hot but it certainly keeps the frost out.
