The settings may need adjusting when entering, if anyone wants advice post here, someone will be able to help.

If you click on Options, then you should be in a screen which is tabbed Themes - select Windows XP on both drop down boxes if you are not using a mackintosh pc. You can also select other colours for your chatroom screen here.
Your text colour (i.e. the colour of the text that you type, can be changed by clicking on the icon located on the right, just above the dialogue entry box at the bottom of the screen.
If you click on Options, then the Text tab, there is a little box that says Use my text colour for all received messages. If you tick that, then click OK, everyone’s words will come out the same colour as yours. Also in this tab, you can change your font size - but if you do that, then click OK, you may need to exit the chatroom for it to work properly - this can easily be done by clicking the Refresh button on your standard internet toolbar.
If you click on the Effects tab, I find that by moving the transparency slide up a notch, it makes the screen easier to use.
