Replying to the misplaced thread,

I make an exception when we're talking about Railtrack or whatever they call themselves.  Their lazy track and siding maintenance methods (send someone in with a strimmer, hack down everything and just leave it) has caused the spread of Japanese Knotweed into local gardens and doubtless Ragwort into fields.

The odd Jazz Woodbine does little damage in comparison to these.

Perhaps a good job you have given up the fags. Spraying petrol around and lighting it? Next news the whole of South Wales will be up in flames.Hmmmmm, no perhaps not. Go borrow a flame gun which uses paraffin or diesel if you must burn your allotment, but please take care with petrol, it is too far to visit you in hospital.
And as for the smoking, I bought a greenhouse with the money I was going to save so I had to stop didn't I? No trouble, no patches, no clinic, no chewing gum, just an increase in appettite. Odd it is. But please.PLEASE watch the petrol spraying.

Depends on which way up you have the top of the cylinder. Up? You finish up in a coal mine . Down, possibly the Mooon, or even since it is close at the moment, Mars. Rocket Man strikes again. Zoooooom.

Hi, Oz. I watched about 20 mins of the prog, but it was too artificial for my taste. My education was just memory training to a large extent and having a photographic memory it meant I could pass exams  in subjects with lots to learn. My children have had a far better sort of Education as they were taught to THINK and how to find out info from a variety of sources. Education is always about a generation behind what society needs. It has to be. My teaching problems almost always stemmed from my sense of humour. Got into trouble for making the kids laff. Much rather garden though.
