To all!

I have a very large shed/sun room going for free. It is too large for my garden and I
need something smaller, more practical. This type of shed would appeal to gardeners as it
has plenty of windows to allow lots of light in for indoor planting.
All I ask is that who ever wants it , comes and collects it, of course I will help!
If you know anyone who maybe interested then please forward this text onto them. Admin should be posting piccies of the shed on this forum..I hope :-)

If I cannot give it a good home then I am going to give it to Cranleigh Bonfire!

Best Regards,

Blimey, shed looks almost too good to be true - would love it. Need to coax my sweetheart into driving our slow and dodgy pick-up to guildford but will check tomorrow if this is a possibility. I had literally just been posting a reply  wittering on about saving for a shed for my new lottie. We are handy builder/landscaping types so can do any moil and toil. Hope to have definate response tomorrow but if someone else is super keen and gets in there, well.......the universe will provide if truly necessary (old hippie)

Hi All,

I am so sorry for the late response. The shed has unfortunately gone. I did not receive many responses to this mail for a a while after it was first posted so I also put in on Loot.co.uk.
The reason I have only replied now is because this forum engine has only just sent me a flood of responses to this thread to my e-mail account, I mean every response. I was relying on my e-mail to catch responses to this thread as they come through but it has only just happened now, so unfortunately  this was the first I heard of thread posts.
I suggest forum admin look into this problem.

Ah well, back to plan B - I was going to buy a cheapie little shed with a pitched roof on one side and maybe even a window. I have seen ones about 2m x 1m for around £100. Then, I was going to extend the basic shed with a 50mm x 75mm tanalised timber frame and PVC panels for the roof. and clear PVC sheet for windows. I would leave the 'extension' open at one end. I could do it in stages and eventually, include a potting table and extend some sort of deck or porch type thingy. I reckon the lot would cost about £200 which is still not cheap but doable in stages. I saw a similar construction with a slanted glassed side wall which cost £500!!!.
Yes, I can see it now - integral planters, verandah, hammock, barbie......oh behave, suzy. I have already been getting real funny looks for laying leftover turf down - looks great though, green velvet (whole plot writhing mass of bramble and bindweed only 2 months ago.
Cheers for the sympathy.

You wouldn't believe the price of sheds over here - smallest one (that in the UK would cost about 100 quid) costs 700 quid over here !!! If I was allowed a shed it would be cheaper to hire a van and drive to the UK and pick one up over there. Hmmm have I discovered a new business venture I wonder ?

Do you have a Shed City anywhere near? I bought a large dog shed from there for £350.00 and cnverted it into an Aviary (well a a friend did) and saved about £500.00.They have alsorts of basic shapes.
