Hey Lorna! Loathe as I am to sugest it, and know no names, but you sound desperate!! General fungicide? If unsure ask at local Garden Centre. Good luck and feeling anxiety here!! Let me know how you go, or have no nails left....!! :o

Lorna, there is a pelargonium rust which last time I heard anything about it there was no cure for I'm afraid. That was a couple of years ago so don't know if there have been any changes since. You could try taking cuttings if unaffected.

Lorna, I've never seen what you describe, but this site might help (near the bottom of the page):

It doesn't quite sound like rust, because you say it's not on the top surface of the leaf.

Read this Lorna. It does sound like rust but maybe not all is lost. good luck.

Thanks  beejay, rosa, and  uc. I had a look in my gardening book but couldn't really see anything to answer my problem (maybe I should get better books!) I hadn't got round to googling. Will remove all affected leaves and go from there. If need be will restock next year. I was worried as being the  novice garden that I am I didn.t want anything to pass to my fu*hsias as some of you know from previous posts a lot of the fu*hsias were bought  for me by my late husband. Thanks again. Lorna.
