Definitely get the dvd set. I find it interesting, usefull and very entertaining. There is an offer on it in this months Kitchen Garden Magazine, two pounds off I thik.
Make the most of today, because you'll never have it back again.

i love seeing real plots weeds and all, and the mixture of people from beginners(like me) to people who have been at it practically all their lives.(GARDENING YOU DIRTY LOT)

A plot aint a plot with out a few weeds   ;D

I am sad to hear about the late Harry Dodson of Victorian Kitchen Garden has passed awat reciently. He was a good old fashioned gardener.

The allotment series is a very good series I have a few on tape. I will think about buying the DVD.

I like "what's in your shed", I'm ever so nosey so thats probably why. I also loved the bit where they made cow foot stew and their wives thought they were hard at work. Also, the poem about the guy being locked in, that was good. And when the grape guy hacked half David Cemlyens vines in half, the look on his face! And the giant veg! Loads of favourites really.

Cowfoot's one of my pet hates, there's nothing to it but gristle. OK for making stock I suppose.
