This may at first sound like an odd request, but I’m looking for help from allotment holders in Redhill, Surrey. At the end of August, I met a girl in a local pub (The Fox Revived), but foolishly did not get her phone number. All I know is her name is Carolyn, she lives in Redhill, works as a receptionist and I’m sure mentioned something about having an allotment! Not a lot to go on, I know, but I’m banking on someone with an allotment in Redhill (or Earlswood, or even Reigate and Merstham) knowing her, or knowing someone who knows someone who knows her, to pass this message on. I’m hoping she’ll remember me â€" I was the one berating her about being unburdened by ambition!...
Contact me on this e-mail address.
Thanks

Blokes aren't supposed to be soft, but I think this is lovely and I am impressed by your initiative. Unfortunately, I live in Coventry, so will be about as much use as a chocolate teapot ...

I hope you find her, or she finds you,

Good luck

Are you very rich?  Do you own your own huge house with a park for a garden?  Are you the guy that mentioned having his own yacht and sailing it around the Virgin Is. twice a year?

That's you?

Hi, it's me Carolyn, so glad to have found you again!   ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thanks for the encouragement and advice - have acted on the suggestion about using the location thread.

To the correspondent who asked whether I was rich, owned a large house, yacht and holidayed in the Caribbean - sorry to disappoint you, you must have mistaken me for someone else...

Thanks again all...
