BAGGY

We use tennis balls from the pound shop ( you get about 10 for a quid).  If you cut a hole in the bottom and also one either side (kind of 3,6 and 9 o'clock) you can link a frame work of canes and then put your netting over the top, secure with clothes pegs, hey presto!  Cheap fruit cage.

Now there's a plan. I was looking at those plastic balls you can get form garden centres that do the same job, but they aren't that cheap.

Now to find a pound shop that isn't stuffed full of Xmas tat... May have to wait until next year!

I use litre pop bottles that make a clattery sound like the Triffids in the old film when the wind blows.  My elderly friends save me their pill bottles which work a treat! :D
