Allotments 4 All

Can anyone tell me what is going on with my hotmail??? I can get msn fine, can see I have a message and the sender, but it won't let me access the message itself!!!! Very annoying.  All I get is an error 404 page, tried everything I and friends know. Will have to resort to loud shouting with megaphone if I can't fix this!

Do you see you have a message from MESSENGER or from your online hotmail account Lottie?

Am working hard on this one lottie, got my computer undergraduate son giving it his scrutiny.

It says you have one message in hotmail, with pic of envelope and senders name.  When I try to access it, just goes to error page.  Could it be Norton acting up?  Lottie

This is a widespread problem, so you are not alone! Have several possible reasons, each needs to be checked carefully. Online is the only sensible method, contact me via messenger when you can. In the meantime, just check that Norton is not blocking msn sites, or hotmail sites. This should be listed in the Norton setup facility (dont use norton so not familiar with the details).

Thanks Derek, def not Norton, ran through set up, all fine.  Then turned it off briefly, still couldn't acess hotmail.  Will be in contact soon! Thank you Lottie

OK, no idea why, but suddenly can access hotmail, all working fine, done nothing!! Thanks for all your help!!  Lottie

I'm sorry Jaggy, detention for appalling grammar! And yes I did check how to spell appalling in the dictionary!!  ;) Just checked how to spell dictionary.....!! And having said no idea what happened to hotmail, told OH how it has fixed itself, he just looked at me stonily, apparently he spent hours cleaning up my messy filing system on comp!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh dear.  ;) ;D
