The Insurance Maze

Hi all,

I am new here and to allotment gardening.

Please can anyone give me a legal opinion on the following:

I am a plot holder.  I rent the plot from an association.
The association are formed with a commitee and trustees.
The association in turn rent the site from the Borough Council.

I need to know the legal relationships between:
myself, the association, the commitee, the trustees and the council ...
regarding the responsibility for accidents on my plot, the site and
hence the responsibility for provision of insurance to cover all risks.
