Turned my back for 5 minutes the other week and the wife bought a conservatory, i tell you money just burns a hole in that womans purse. Anyway with half my garden gone can anyone give me any tips on what plants i can stick in this oversized greenhouse which incidently im not allowed to have anything veg or fruit like growing in. I want to steer away from the traditional yukkha tree etc. and get something reet exotic.

It's got to be Strelitzia reginae, although probs as pop now as the Yucca but much more demanding and prettier ;D Or Colocasia esculenta big leaf plant like elephants ears grows well indoors and out doors in summer 8)

OOhhhh thats a bad one, Put your foot down if theres to be no veggies in the new conservatory, then she must give you favours for at least 6 months, not being rude either!!!!

how about a bannana plant, grapes you can grow as long as the roots are outside, I have orchids and a hoya in mine.  a spider plant always looks good on a stand. Oranges and Lemons the list is endless but yep they are great for growing bedding plants and vedge.
