Ok, if this has worked there should be a clickable thumbnail image of my allotment taken the day we got it (3 weekends ago)

The trees in the distance are fruit trees and behind is grass and a very old shed - but it's shelter!

Will post this area, and work done to date if it turns out that this one is ok  :)

Ok - first one should be an image of the part of the plot behind the fruit trees.  We haven't done much with this beyond some basic grass cutting so we can move about.  There's various bits of rubbish to be got rid of but the plan is eventually to have the compost bin there - and somewhere to sit out in the shade of my apple trees!

Second one should be what we managed over two and a bit weekends.  Not very impressive I know but I'm conserving my energies for the long haul!  One part of the plastic is a couch grass patch (patch is a euphemism for swathes of the b****y stuff) but the front bed is for planting.
