BB, I have been reading the Beeb Board recently and I don't know what is going on over there, but  there  does seem to be a few really strange people on it who just seem to want to pick an argument.  :(

I feel a lot more comfortable here and trusting of the people who seem more like friends, and come across as warm and caring people.  Like you I am so glad to have been pointed in this direction.  :)  busy_lizzie

Don't want to start a war but it has to be said;-

They say the colour of the rose is Red
But that's a load of s**te
There's only one Rose that's Yorkshire.
And the colour of that is White.

Don`t know whether you noticed in the weekend papers, Budgiebreeder.

A Yorkshire farmer who tried to fly the Yorkshire White Rose flag was ordered by Council Officials to take it down until he had bought a licence, costing £60, to fly it.

The ghost of Richard, Duke of York, will be rising from his grave and rallying his troops!

Cor, beaurocracy gone mad or what. I dont thing they even like the cross of st george appearing too much these days. Seen as racist or something.  Tell you what I'd fly the flag (if i had one) and dare them to do somthing about it!!

For Richard_F,

Flying St George's Cross - "racist or something".  Problem is that there are individuals and groups who do this as a racist gesture - sad, underhand and sneaky, but true.

And improbably funny, since St George, born today, would have a Turkish passport!

All best - Gavin
