Went up to the lottie on Wednesday to check the plants in the coldframe. After the day's heavy rain, the plot looked desolate - great pools of water and muddy paths. It reminded me of those awful pictures of Flanders battlefields.

By Thursday evening, with a day of sunshine, it was transformed! Poking through the soil are parsnip, carrot, beetroot and lettuce seedlings, spring onions. None of them were showing on Wednesday.  :)

Thank goodness for raised beds and sunshine! I wish I had a digi camera to show you the difference.

Glad to hear your veggies are  making a showing  :)  Get yourself a digital camera as soon as you can - you'll wonder how you managed without one.

I took this pic this afternoon while staring out of the window.  I had my camera handy so was able to capture this moment.  I grew the flowers too  :)
I came, I saw, I composted
