Anyone know what I put on my apples to reduce scab?  I inherited a couple of minature trees with my house.  I think that they may be hybrids as some of the branches have totally different apples to others on the same tree - can anyone confirm?

I also have no clue as to what type of apples they are - one tree seems like cookers and the other seems like eaters - both have scab though...

I did a search under Apple scab but not much came up...

Any help greatly appreciated... ???

Thanks Tim, I appreciate the help.  It mentions some scary things that sound like chemicals MANCOZEB etc...  What does everyone else do with their scabby apples...?

Thanks very much Tim - I appreciate the help...!!

Palustris

Copper sulphate is the (I think) organically allowed spray for Apple scab. Every ten days from when the leaves first start to break open, but not when the bees are visiting!. Oh and collect up every dropped leaf and applet and do not compost them.
Gardening is the great leveller.
