Howard 350 coil

Hello again,

Been away for a while on a boat so no allotment.  Still have my Howard 350 (actually have two but one has stopped working) and want to change the coil.  I've seen a few on sale that fit the engine I have - K141 - and it is recommended to saw the old coil off.  So, if I do that, how do I get the new coil back onto the U bit that the old one came off?
