Seed for thought

Having just read the Threads over Seeds for a Country Cottage.
There seems a Difference in thoughts here ??? ???

I've requested a Number of Catalogues out of Personel interest for Comparision Test... Variaties... Cost... Service that sort of thing.

Now getting Back to the Nitty Gritty of the Bone here.

What do you think is best!! :)

Normal Seeds        Organic Seeds       Standard Priced Seeds

Less Pricy Seeds from Other Sources.

Are the More Expensive Seeds really Better!!

Do we benefit by paying a little more for Organic!! ???

Are Cheapy seeds really cheap.....or because they are
puchased in bulk by that SuperMarket Chain !! :o

Really would like your thoughts...Experiences..and comments on this Subject. ;)

No idea!! But I do know that all seeds have to adhere to the Seed Act which says that a specific germination rate has to be achieved, if not get money back.  I personally get mine from a catalogue, but Garden Centres just as good.  I'd only pay out for organic if I was 130% organic!! I'm about 85%!!!! Happy hunting Lottie

I'm dead chuffed with my marigold seeds from Lidl.  29 p a packet and there were loads of seed in the packets.  I only sowed a fraction of one of the packets and they all germinated and they are the best looking seedlings I've produced to date.  Very strong and healthy and I shall grow some more just as soon as I've got some space.  I would defintely try some other Lidl seeds
