Freezer Clear out!

So my wife and I are clearing up the house and generally having a bit of a sort out and today was the appointed day for the freezers.
Blimey - I have enough frozen passata to float an oil tanker - no idea I had so much.
I also found several bags of cherries and an enormous batch of raspberries.  The cherries are at least four years old as the tree hasn't produced a crop since then.  Raspberries were all this year but I thought we had one or two bags - not six..
So we have just made a couple of liters of cherry brandy and three liters of raspberry gin.
Tomorrow I am going to be making raspberry jam and eating courgette soup!

Try and do this each year in spring and take any frozen fruit not wanted to local homeless charities preparing food. Always cannot resist freezing too much fruit in the summer/autumn
