Gingernut Rangers?

Hi all. My first post on here.
I have an allotment and 3 hens. I am wanting a few more hens soon and iv'e seen a local breeder selling Gingernut rangers. They are the cheapest they sell but seem to be the best all round bird. Does anyone have any experience with Gingernut Rangers?

Well they seem like a great bird esp if they are cheap.  By the reviews they look friendly, tame and are great egg layers.  I may get one or two next time I need some!

Yeah that's what I read. I'm going to get 5 to go with my other girls and see what they're like.
