My mum lost a ring while gardening when I was little- and dug it up many years later- but not quite like this!

Indeed!  I had lost my wedding ring, couldn't find it anywhere and drove everybody crazy trying to find it.  Until the next time I put my gardening gloves on - and my finger slipped right inside it  I had lost a bit of weight which had made the ring loose and when I took the gloves off it must have come off my finger with the glove unnoticed.  Gosh was I glad when it was back.

But this Canadian lady's story is something else.     Thank you for sharing.
