I've some seeds I saved from a Polka dot Purple plant which I want to sow. It's such a pretty plant, although these won't come true I'd like to try growing some on.

I'm not sure of the best type seed compost for them, or best conditions to germinate?

This Nursery is near us and their plants are stunning. Eres what they say.....we used to visit here when girls were younger....they are known as stretchy carpet plants here as thats what youngest thought they were called ;)

In good conditions they will flower for quite a while.

Be very careful with the watering!

Err on the dry side in other words let them go virtually dry before watering them!

They should flower all summer long only stopping when daylight hours and levels fall autumn/winter. They are easy enough to overwinter and will reward you again once light levels improve. You might need to repot or divide and repot. They really are lovely plants, easy to look after and reward with amazing blossoms.

What varieties did you get?
