Crab apple jelly

Picked a big pan full of little apples from our John Downie tree, a good size for them and nice looking fruits this year. A shame to pick them really as they look so pretty, but they would have all been blown off in the stormy weather yesterday. I've cooked and strained them, will do the jelly today I thought I might do some with chillies for a bit of kick. 

I'd love to know what are your favourite autumnal jams, jellies, pickles etc you make?
