Second thinnings in the beetroot row.. Too big to throw away, so now they are nicely tucked up in a jar and pickling away in vinegar. We have done no shopping for the last fortnight and it looks like a fortnight more. Will need to use up all the shop bought stuff and make room for this years harvest.
