On the Today programme, they had one of the T&M people talking about BLACK hyacinths. They paid £150k for some nearly 10 years ago, and 8 years of development and breeding has led to them selling black hyacinth bulbs at £7.50 each!

Wonder what they smell like, blackberries? not sure about these think I'd have to see them first, a lot of so called black are a muddy yuk. would set a design off a treat though if they looked okay. very pricey it would have to be something really special.
