There is a whole list of things they will not send any more.  I had a problem returning a phone with a battery in it.  Which was odd since I have had lots of batteries before and since.   We had to wait for the battery to be discharged.

Had problems with some plants as well because they were wet had to prove they were sealed in.

I had a problem returning a phone with a battery in it.

Something that happened to me today....had to send phone back to Tesco, which provided all the packaging and labels etc..and then in post they start asking questions... :BangHead: Postie woman said the battery is not the issue but "is the battery connected to the phone..."? Tesco never mentioned it should not be.... so my answer was ..."errr...no it is not connected...(oh dear...)..."

They started asking round here some time ago. The local one plays silly buggers; they told me a while back that you can't send seeds by letter post, which is nonsense, and then they tried to charge £11 and odd for a parcel another office sent for £2 and odd.

Digeroo

Certainly I have had problems with seeds in letters, they are not allowed to be bumpy, seems it upsets the sorting machines and they get caught.   It is odd because you are allowed a badge on the card.

I think it is just an excuse to charge more.

All packed up again, weighed and weighed again ready to go to the post office first thing tomorrow.
But where is it going?

Here is a little description of where the parcel is going next.  The post office should have no difficulty getting it there, after all the M42 as well as the A41 provide excellent access.  Despite this, the place is set in an idyllic park landscape, close to the river Blythe.  It is a paradise for wildlife too, including the rare Tyto Non Alba.  The romantic Half Moon coppice is also nearby.

Thank you for this, I have enjoyed googling the images of Tyto Non Alba.  Stunning,  but it has not helped me make a guess.

I particularly enjoyed this one

Lovely picture - getting warmer  :sunny:
But what you have googled is 'Tyto Alba' aka Barn owl, literally 'white owl'.  Does this help?

Can anybody guess why?

Just to add, that I didn't simply google the next person's address to come up with that clue.  Neither have I been there myself.

Yes, Goodlife, it does sound rather idyllic there.  And as you quite rightly say, it isn't far from town.

I admit snooping Lottie Lou's profile page and the location map was quite a give away... :glasses9:

Oh - you've got it!  Yes this is from Lottie Lou's location map on her profile page.  I thought you had 'snooped' the regular Google map with the help of the location names I had given in the clue.

Well Done!  Yippie!   :icon_cheers:

The second clue was also from Lottie Lou's profile page

- and from 1400 other places on A4A
