Lemon grass

I got some lemon grass seeds from ebay. They have grown well but just look like normal grass- is that right? If so, what do I do with it?

Yes they look very much like grass to begin with, but if they are big enough for you to gently press a leaf you should be able to smell that lovely zesty smell. When I've grown them from seed, I just pot a couple up in multi purpose compost and increase the pot size as they grow. I've never had much luck overwintering them, they might do in a porch or conservatory?
I didn't start any this year but they are lovely plants to grow
