Does anyone have any Alexanders seeds I could scrounge please?

Though I hear you need to ensure they do not set seed as they become a weed.

Sorry Digeroo...I don't have any seeds at the moment...If you want me to save some, let me know, as I suspect mine will flower later on this year.
I'm not 100%..but I seem to have this thought in my head that they will need period of cold weather for to germinate...so if my memory is right.. you will need either do the 'fridge trick' or sow outdoors in autumn for spring germination.

Many thanks.  I have read they need vernalisation.  But seems outside they germinate very readily and become rather annoying weeds.

Walking in Hastings yesterday spotted extraordinarily green and exuberant patch of umbellifers in full flower near a car park, took a handful, and later identified it as Alexanders. I mean to go back at seed setting time and start off an allotment patch. I'll put up a note when I've got seed, and pass them on to anyone interested.
