Hello Everyone,

My name is Elliot Thomson and I am a student at Strathclyde University, studying Product Design & Innovation. I am currently undertaking my final year design project which looks at "Redesigning Gardening for the Urban Area"

I have made up a questionnaire (with the link posted below) focused towards allotment holders as I would like to get your opinions to further help me with my research and ultimately with the final design of my product.

The questionnaire should only take 10minutes of your time and I would be very great full if you could fill it out.

If anyone has any questions regarding the project I would be happy to talk about it.

Kind Regards
Elliot Thomson

I've completed the survey, although it seems to be aimed at people gardening in cities rather than allotment holders. Also, in q. 9 I presume you mean "Peace and quiet" ;)

Digeroo

Questions seem to be rather simplistic.  Is this a degree level survey or GCSE?

I agree with Digeroo in that the survey was simplistic and, I think, poorly implemented.  I tried filing it in but it did make much sense to me..

There is no need to write "in your opinion" in the questions.  It is a survey and I am pretty sure most people realise that the point is to write down their opinions.

10) What in your opinion is needed for gardening in the city - same as anywhere. Soil, water, seeds.  If you meant, what can we do to improve access to urban gardening or how could we expand the space available to gardeners in the city then that would be a proper question.

Best of luck but I don't see you getting that much useful information out of the survey..
Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!

I filled it in but couldn't see the relevance of some of the questions myself. Can't see how useful it will be tbh
