Isle of Wight basking in sunshine,  between 6 and 8 last night and should get 11 or 12 during the day. It's a good job the clocks went back or else we would never be able to tell if it was summer or winter.

I suppose you have the same problem up in the frozen wastelands of the north, if it gets dark early it is winter.

It was windy here last night - part of the fence behind the church is down - but it's fine and overcast now. This is what it was like at my sister's yesterday; she lives in the yellowish house.

Blimey! That's a bit scary. I hope everybody was safe and not too much damage done.

Everyone's OK. The houses are 19th Century, and they'll have survived plenty like it. The only real threat is rising sea levels.

What about the car.  Not sure that will have liked a salty dowsing.

Foggy here today.   Sun trying rather weakly to break through.  I can see my breathe when I go hrrrr.
But with zero wind it feels ok outside.   Just off to lottie will get some celery, celeriac for some soup.
