shortage of allotment space in ?

Healthily growing tomato plant, spotted at Bath station yesterday, on the main line, London direction! Presumably the frequent passing of trains above will act in the same way as brushing your hand over the plant, to strengthen the growth?  I hope someone more local than us (we are now back in SW France) will keep an eye on its progress? There were a reasonable number of flowers on it.

There were some on the canal near here last year. Some of the people with canal boats always grow them, but these were self-sown, as far as I could see, and the healthiest I've seen along there.
