Isn't it wonderful living in this century and having that type surgery available? What a blessing!  Glad you had a great experience.
The handle on your recliner does not qualify as an exercise machine.

It is a quick way of doing the op Gordon & a much quicker recovery time but you still need to take it easy for a bit. Take care.

That sounds good.  Like others say give yourself time now.  Leave the garden alone for a while :toothy10:

Been there - done that.  Very fast recovery.  What a relief from that horrible gallstone pain!  However - it is still major abdominal surgery and you must take care or you could end up with adhesions.  Nothing too strenuous for 3 to 6 months - just as well spring digging is many months away.

I didn't know about adhesions when I had mine done 18 years ago,  but with OH's more recent abdominal surgery they really drummed the message home why he had to take it easy.  Ok, so I did all the grass mowing and heavy lifting for a few months.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Yes, take it easy. Hope you are back on your feet soon.
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com
