you are not the only one - especially in the mornings.  Have washed my hair with conditioner rather shampoo countless times, but luckily so far avoided your plight 

Early in the morning is not the best time for eyesight acuity!

Ace, I just love the Specsavers adverts, perhaps you could tell him about your experience and if they use it as an advert make some money out of it.  Just don't shave your dog or sit on a seat that is a roller coaster.  Many years ago my husband washed in the green soap I had left in the bathroom and came out in a rash, he said never buy that soap again, I never, ever told him it was the soap for the dog from the pet shop to get rid of fleas.
