First time I have grown them and they look great! Anyone got a good 'un please?

I am afraid that I cook them just like courgettes! I pick them pretty small, no more than 10cm across.
I expect you can halve and stuff them if they get a bit bigger? Otherwise they are nice just sliced up and sauteed with onions and garlic. If they are very small, halve and steam, they have such a tender fresh taste!
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com
