Where’s our Summer?

It's blooming cold here (again), wind is howling in from the North, Met says wind speed is 32 with gusts of 50+ oh joy!
I'm stacked up on veggies needing planting out, but it's too darn cold and windy! Last year was poor.....can't wait for this one to warm up!!!!!

I make Ace right we don't get many good days like yesteryear, rained all day today, I put on an extra wolly and a wet coat at work today it was like being in the middle of winter.

We went to Chester today for another birthday meal , nearly got blown away

Tomorrow and Sunday should be good, according to the weather on the Internet.

May have been a bit hasty planting my new courgette plant today. Slugs got the first one, so bought a bigger one this morning, planted it before the wind got up. I think I am going to find it flattened tomorrow!

Yesterday, I was building a clay oven outside, in that weather.

Today, after yesterday's exhausting day, I can't move and it's flipping lovely out.

The sun was out here but it has now clouded over.  I hope it appears again and that it is warm out there as we wanted to have our first barbecue of the year tonight as it is John's (my OH) 65th Birthday.

Sunshine been and come and gone here today.  Lovely at 8am.   Still some blue sky now but it never seems to be where the sun is.

Expected it to be busy at the lotties but I only saw 5 sets of people.

Its a lovely day here. felt a bit fresh first thing but once the sun was up its been lovely. And tomorrow will be hotter.
