How are you feeling today Pauline?

I was at the hospital again on Wednesday and they did a scan of my heart and lungs.  It seems I have a pleural effusion now!  They followed the scan up with another chest X ray and will call me back again in two weeks to have another scan and hopefully, to tell me what is wrong.  At the moment they still don't know what is causing it. 

I feel better than I have done for many weeks but I get incredibly out of breath just walking a few yards, going upstairs and even just chatting on the phone. 

I am very limited as to what I can do at the moment so get quite bored as I want to get out into the garden to get the veggie beds prepared.  I have sown some broad beans into some jiffy7's indoors and they are all sprouting.  I may get a few tomato and cucumber seeds on the go today.  I have a large working surface in an enclosed heated back porch where I can have all my seeds so there is no need for me to go out in the cold to get compost etc. if I sow them in Jiffies.
